Currently, nearly all Huawei modems or Huawei USB dongles issued by service providers are protected, coded to work only with SIM cards from a specific service provider.

If your Huawei modem does not unlock, use the second method or post your imei here and I will unlock the modem myself.
1. Go to this
2. Look near the button of the page. You will see where to insert your Huawei 15 digit modem IMEI. Enter your Huawei IMEI code, hit Calculate[sic] and your unlock code is generated.
3. Insert a non native SIM into your Huawei USB dongle - modem, plug into a computer USB hub. An arrogant small window will popoup asking for your modem’s NCK aka unlocking code..
4. Enter the unlock code you generated on step 2. Your Huawei modem is unlocked!
